• A Japanese Maple of medium green, 3 lobed, larger leaves, grown for the spectacular snake-like trunk, that make this the perfect specimen plant for many uses. The bark has a pale olive green look while stripped with white striations. Branches spread in a graceful form causing slim silhouettes' of shadow accented by umbels of purple flowers followed by long strings of winged seeds. In fall, colors of yellow, oranges and bright reds light up the tree. Imagine it planted near a water feature as leaves droop and dip down into the quiet shimmering pool or placed in a fine container for the patio or even shaped and pruned as a bonsai specimen.
