• Decalepis hamiltonii Swallow Root Tree Seeds

This endangered plant loves to grow in difficult places like between rocks and dense clusters of trees. The roots have such a pleasing scent that the plant has become scarce in its native habitat due to over harvesting. Stunning flowers accent forest green leaves followed by pods hanging in pairs.

This plant makes a most interesting deck plant and grows well as a container plant for several years if pruned and shaped, for the home or greenhouse, in addition to being a specimen plant.

Treat as a tropical that cannot tolerate frost.

As with any plant, caution should be exercised about leaves or seeds and use of the plant and whether caution should be exercised around pets or children. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know whether any plant or seed is acceptable or allowable for the area being shipped to. Seller is not responsible for buyer’s use of plant or seeds and any dangers thereof. By purchasing this item buyer accepts this understanding.

    Fun Facts:
    1. Native to India
    2. Hardy outdoors in zones 9+
