Pink Polka Dot
NOTE - Seeds are very Tiny - this is NORMAL and the way Nature makes them
Grown for its variegated pink and green foliage, this delightful plant gorws well as a potted plant and as a perennial outdoors in the shade in zones 9+ In colder zones they are sometimes grown as an annual for the garden flower bed. The perfect plant to get kids involved in gardening. In fact this is the first houseplant that I had as a child. The foliage is dark green and heavily spotted with light pink, so that on most leaves, only the midrib and veining remain green.
A nice choice to to mix with other plants, both foliage and flowering.
This is a tropical plant is well worth the effort of growing, and does very well in containers. Cannot tolerate hard frost and must be brought or kept indoors or in a protected area.
