Metasequoia glyptostroboides Dawn Redwood Tree
Soft feathery light green foliage accents a red-brown trunk of fissured, rugged looking bark. This is a fast growing tree perfect for almost any use imaginable. Grows well in zones 5-9 and are easy to grow. The tree is an endangered species and the only one of the genus metasequoia left. Foliage turns from the soft green to a bronze in the fall before loosing its “leaves” for winter.
