• Pinus banksiana
    Jack Pine

A really nice ornamental species of pine characterized by a trunk that grows straight to sometimes crooked and irregular. Needles are short and yellow to green in color giving it a distinguished appearance accented by reddish- brown bark. Popular as a specimen tree and grown almost everywhere. Tolerant of poor soil. A perfect bonsai specimen!

This tree makes a most interesting deck plant and also grows well as a container plant for the home or greenhouse in addition to being a specimen plant.

As with any plant, caution should be exercised about leaves or seeds and whether or not the plant is meant to be ingested. Seller is not responsible for buyer’s use of plant.
