    An annual tropical vine, or short lived perennial, is grown for its high nutrient value. Purple sweet pea like flowers peek out from forest green leaves followed by the prized brght green winged bean. Perfect for the trellis. This plant is a continuous bloomer throughout summer. The beans are used as a vegetable, the leaves are cooked like spinach , the roots are similar to potato , and the dried seeds and used for flour.
