Rhododendron campylocarpum - Yellow Flower

Bright yellow, bell shaped flowers bloom from about April to May and nestle among forest green leaves. Bark has an aged flaking appearance. Provides beauty and color for all seasons. Very Hardy to 0 degrees. Keep away from high wind areas. One of the finest yellow varieties!

Likes well drained, moist soil, slightly acidic. Prefers some shade. Perfect for woodland gardens. Keep away from high wind areas.

A breathtaking ornamental for temperate and warm temperate climates in USDA Zones 6 and above otherwise grow as a container plant and bring indoors when cold weather looms.

1. The name Rhododendron comes from the greek words "rodon" which means "rose" and "dendron" which means "tree", hence Rose Tree
