Delicate Rose Colored of tiny pink blossoms "float" above succulent green foliage. Attractive stems are used in dried flower arrangements. Seedpods dry with varying shades of orange, red, brown and yellow. 2-3 ft. tall plants can reach 3 ft. wide. Grows in sun or part shade and tolerates poor soil. Native to parts of the South and the Caribbean. Perennial in zones 8 and up. Self-sows readily and may naturalize. Grows in a wide varieties of soil and even loves growing out from rocks and small crevasses. Well developed as a cottage garden flower or a nice meadow setting. Self seeding annual that also works well as a cut flower, drying or arrangements for fall and winter decorations.
Can be sown direct to the garden or started in flats.
