This tree found in the beautiful lower hills of Southeast Asia is often grown in parks and along avenues. Bright green leaves crowd stems and branches where small spikes of delicate white blossoms peek from underneath. The tree is deciduous and cold hardy to 30° F but since it is a tropical should be protected from frost.
