A proven performer that produces an abundance of 4-6oz classic round meaty tomatoes. This variety is a classic greenhouse tomato grown as a commercial heirloom form the 1950's. Medium sized fruits are sweet with a good texture. Perfect for fresh eating on salads and sandwiches and the perfect addition to salsas or chopped into sauces. A southern favorite. Grows well in hot, humid climates but is amazingly adaptable and will set fruit freely in all climatic regions . Best controlled by staking and pruning. Grows up to 8' but can be controlled with pruning or staking.
