Tom Thumb Lettuce Seeds
A tiny version of a traditional butterhead lettuce that grows tight little 4 inch rosettes of loosely formed, soft, textured green leaves. One head makes the perfect individual salad. Perfect for smaller gardens. Doesnt get bitter even when weather is hot. Grows well in most areas of the US and is terrific for Spring and Fall plantings. Tolerates colder weather. Makes a good all season variety if protected from hard frosts. This variety can be sown in most locations from about March through August to harvest April to October for a nearly "year-round" harvest. In cold zones this lettuce can be grown in the greenhouse or under covers for overwintering for an early spring harvest.
Perfect for small gardens and the market gardener alike.
