Sowing & Growing Instructions
• Sowing Depth: 1/4 inch (6 mm)
• Seed Spacing: 1/2 inch (13 mm) apart; thin to 2 inches (5 cm) for optimal stalk development.
• Row Spacing: 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) apart.
• Days to Germination: 7 to 14 days
• Days to Maturity: 60 to 75 days
When to Plant
• Direct Sowing: Sow outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. For a continuous harvest, sow successively every 2 to 3 weeks until mid-summer.
• Indoor Starting: Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last hard frost. Harden off gently before transplanting outside.
Cultivation
