A winter planted barley used for grinding or coarse berries as well as malted for brewing. This is a "naked" grain without the need to remove hulls thereby keeping the nutritional value intact. Resistant to rust disease. Makes a great cover crop or green manure and compost.

Plant in Fall aroung October in cold climates. A standard spring variety, that is well adapted to most conditions.
