Originally grown in the Amish community prior to the present snap pea varieties. A delightfully sweet variety sets large pods of 2-3" full of medium sized peas. Vines grow to about 5 feet or more. Yields well in a variety of temperatures. Can be eaten right out of the garden! Easy to shell. Pick just before fully plump for the best flavor. Keep picked for higher yields.
