A legendary snap bean well known for its delicious taste. Peter Henderson & Company introduced this wonderful variety back in 1897. Productive bush plants produce slender, 6" long, stringless green pods and shiny black seed that can also be used as a dry soup bean.
Bush type beans are very easy to grow and manage, reaching a height of only 2 feet tall. Excellent for early planting, matures in 48 to 70 days. This group of beans is a favorite for the home garden and can be grown just about anywhere because they have a relatively short growing season.
