You won't find a more beautiful small tree than right here with this one! It's easy to grow and tolerant of drought. Small green leaves lend the perfect backdrop to a profusion of yellow blooms. These buttercup-yellow blooms begin in late summer thru winter, in frost free areas. A perfect specimen plant that looks pretty even out of flower. The flowers are followed by interesting, pendulous, seedpods that remind one of dripping candle wax. Perfect for a larger container or plant as as standard outdoors in zones 8+. my tree has kept its leaves when out temperature dipped to 12 degrees F. But if it does suffer leaf loss it bounces right back. It is extremely tolerant of heat & drought but looks best in rich soil with regular water. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
