Basil is one of the most popular herbs, used in just about every kind of cooking. The perfect complimentary ingredient for recipes that use tomatoes. Height to 18-30” A must for any gardener! 

This variety is reminiscent of cinnamon. Burgundy stems and narrow, slightly jagged, dark green leaves are tender and intensely flavored. Small pink flowers bloom from July - September. Its highly aromatic, and is more stable at high and extended cooking temperatures than other basil varieties. Great for use in many styles of cooking in addition to Italian recipes.

Plant with green basil for a beautiful contrast to the herb garden.

Use for garnish, salads and oil and vinegar infusions.
