Fruits ripen from indigo blue to purple then finally orange to red, grow to about 1 inch on foot tall plants.  Fruits are medium hot at 50,000  scoville units.  In addition to ornamental use this hot little pepper is pprfect for fresh eating in salad as well as pickling and freezing. A heavy producer for small gardens, market gardens and the home garden. Also a perfectly grown ornamental that adds color to the home all year.  An attractive 'ornamental edible' for a sunny windowsill or patio container outside.
