Indian Frankincense or Boswellia tree is the source of a valuable resin. A tropical tree with a short, stocky trunk that often grows crooked lending much interest as a bonsai work of art or specimen tree. The papery bark often peels off in flakes. Feathery leaves may fall during dry months in its natural range during which time the tree will come into bloom with white to faint pink flower clusters followed by a seed pod that contains one winged shaped seed that will blow into the wind for dispersal to other areas.  
   
Grown primarily as an ornamental.  Plants should be grown as a  container Tropical plant. Protect from frost.  
 
Buyers should do their own research for plant uses.
