Lonicera maackii
Amur Honeysuckle
A deciduous shrub that can grow up 15 feet or a little more with arrow green leaves accented by white, scented flowers fading to yellow, followed by small red berries that add interest in the fall trough winter. This plant can become invasive so we recommend container growing for the deck where it will add much interest and show. Adaptable to a range of conditions from sun to deep shade and wet to dry.
Zone 3-8 as an outdoor standard – anywhere as a specimen or bonsai plant.
This widely adaptable tree can be used for a wide range of uses including, standard specimen as well as the greenhouse. It makes the perfect container patio plant.
