Beautiful purple and white orchid-like flowers bloom against bright green foliage. The name variegata suggests varigated foliage but actually refers to the variations in color of the flower from pink to white. Cultivated throughout the world as a tropical plant in the greenhouse as well as the home. Grown mainly for the lovely flowers. Grown as a standard in zones 9A -11.
