    A smooth trunk and branches that spread out are accented by bright green leaves that actually have a pink tint for the first two years. Buds start out lavender and open up into bright coral clusters. Winter hardy in tropical zones 10 - 11 but can be easily grown indoors in colder climates if given warmth and bright light. Makes a unique conversation piece and striking houseplant and should be considered a perfect specimen choice for bonsai.
